Skiresort.de, the world's largest test portal of skiing areas, awarded the best ski resorts worldwide in 2022. Since 1998, ski and snowboard fans, as well as the ski resorts themselves have regarded the annual test winner awards as the most important industry award. This year a selected circle of the best ski resorts worldwide can look forward to the awards and SkiWelt is one of them!

The SkiWelt offers a wide range of activities for beginners, families with children, freeriders and cross-country skiers throughout the SkiWelt. Insanely big is our motto and we have been awarded for it: the ski area extends over 9 villages and thus offers 270 km of slopes and 21 valley runs. Furthermore, all ski-lifts are equipped with modern technology and there is hardly any waiting time for the skiers to get on. Our ecological footprint has been described by Skiresort as exemplary: Solar-powered lifts, countless snow ponds filled with spring and melt water and heat pumps that transfer the waste heat from the cable-car and heat the surrounding buildings are just a few of the praised examples. In addition, we were able to convince with our 80 rustic family-run huts and mountain restaurants, which invite you to stop for a bite to eat.
