Enter the ski area directly and discover everything that makes your day of skiing perfect in the SkiWelt Ellmau: wide, sunny pistes and varied valley runs in several variants. The Hartkaiser 10-seater gondola lift with extra-slow entry makes it easy for beginners to access the ski area.
The wide pistes of the Köglbahn and Almbahn lifts are particularly popular for carving turns in the sun. There are several valley runs with varying degrees of difficulty. The demanding "Black East" and the unprepared "White-Kögel" run are sporting challenges.
For families with children who are not yet able to ski, there is the "Ellmi's Kids Club" with indoor childcare right at the mountain station. Children who can already ski can use the "Vetterstätt" practice slope and the "Kirchbichl lift" in the village centre with their own ski pass in addition to the magic carpets on the mountain. Adventurous children can head to SkiWelt Ellmau to the "Funslope" with a route through the forest and tunnels or to the "Kaiserpark" with small kickers, boxes and rails.

Ski lifts in Ellmau
In Ellmau, the Hartkaiser gondola lift takes you to the ski area in comfort. Thanks to the slow entry, it is ideal for beginners. The Vetterstätt and Kirchbichl practice lifts are located in the village centre. On the mountain, "Ellmi's magic carpets" complete the offer for beginners. Several chairliftssuch as the Almbahn and Köglbahn take you up the sunny slopes of the Hartkaiser, from where you have a fantastic view of the Wilder Kaiser. Together with the Kaiserexpress and the Tanzbodenbahn, they also connect Ellmau with Going and Scheffau.

Pistes in Ellmau
The valley run offers several variants for every level. Wide pistes on the Almbahn and Köglbahn lifts invite you to carve, while Ellmi's 6er is a popular slope for ski schools and the Funslope with routes through forests and tunnels is particularly fun for little skiers. At the Kaiserexpress and Tanzboden, important connecting pistes lead further into the SkiWelt to Going and Scheffau.

Arrival & mobility
You can reach Ellmau by car via the Inntal motorway (A12), exit Kufstein-Süd (toll-free) or Wörgl-Ost. If you are travelling by train, take the train to Hopfgarten, Kufstein, Wörgl or St. Johann - from there you can continue by bus or taxi.
