Astberg Pony Alm
Pony riding – Hiking – Relaxing
With their 20 ponies, the cable car companies have created a pony pasture on the Astberg in Going am Wilden Kaiser. Accompanied by professional pony riders, children can explore the area on horseback.
From the Wilder Kaiser and the Kitzbüheler Horn to the Grossglockner - the views on the Astberg which capture the full panorama are quite awesome. A place where everyone can enjoy a sense of freedom. First take the Astbergbahn chairlift and then, as you enjoy the leisurely ascent, take your time and a deep breath and feel the wonderful peace radiating from the lake. Especially on a clear summer day, this is a very special place when the refection of the Wilder Kaiser shimmers on the Astbergsee lake. Enjoy a day of activity or simply switch off - on Going’s Astberg, the choice is yours.
The Astberg also has plenty to offer families. There’s a beautiful viewing platform with direct views of the Kaisergebirge mountains, and loungers for the whole family to relax on and enjoy the panoramic views. Set off and hike around the Astberg or down into the valley to Going. No rush, no pressure, just peace and quiet.
