Astberg Pony Alm

Pony riding – Hiking – Relaxing

Pony riding - hiking - relaxing
A highlight of the popular Astberg panoramic mountain is the Ponyalm with its 27 cute ponies including foals. Together with the pony pros, I explore the area on the back of the ponies - a dream for all kids. Then I settle down on one of the wooden loungers at the unique Kaiserkino cinema. The cinema is an oasis of calm. I take the opportunity to relax, recharge my batteries and enjoy the gigantic view of the Wilder Kaiser.
I set off and hike around the Astberg or down the valley back to Going. All this without rushing and hurrying, with peace and serenity. Experience an active day or simply switch off - I love coming to the Going Astberg for this.

Barrier-free on the Astberg Pony Alm

I can easily take the buggy on the chairlift - it is transported on its own chair without any other people. The flat path around the Astbergsee lake is also easy to do with a pushchair. Wheelchairs cannot be transported on the chairlift.

Rain on the Astberg Pony Alm

I can also visit the Astberg Pony Alm in the rain, but only with the right clothing, as everything is outdoors. As long as it's not thundering and lightning, I can still go for a ride with the ponies. Right next to the top station of the Astberg chairlift is the Blattlalm hut, where I can take a break and warm up.
