Routes for whole families can also be planned individually. ‘Wild Castle’ - Jubiläumssteig half-day via ferrata tour The climb through the ‘Wild Castle’ (Jubiläumssteig) in the heart of the Wilder Kaiser is a must for all sure-footed mountain hikers with a head for heights! Fantastic rocky backdrops, wonderful viewpoints and exciting passages will stay in your memory for a long time. Today you will follow the footsteps of the KAT Walk, the long-distance hiking trail through the Kitzbühel Alps. The Salvenbahn gondola takes you up to the middle station of the Hohe Salve. Together with our hiking guide Lous, you will walk across lush alpine meadows on the sunny side of what is probably the most beautiful panoramic mountain in Tyrol, our Hohe Salve! This half-day hike requires endurance and stamina, after all you will be covering around 650 metres in altitude. Subject to change due to condition and weather. Guided hike to the Gruttenkreuz The meeting point is at the Top Kaiserguides office and then we take the shuttle to the Wochenbrunner Alm (1,085m). From there, the tour starts through the Anna Grotte in the direction of the Gaudeamushütte. Continue along the Klammlweg to the Gruttenhütte and then up to the Gruttenkreuz (1,700m).
