Information for ski tourers
Since Monday, November 8th 2021, due to the step-by-step plan regulation of the federal government, tour skiers have to comply to all current rules and regulations. If they take a break at a mountain hut of use gondolas or ski lifts, the 2G-rule applies (vaccinated or recovered) in hotels and restaurants, just like for all other skiers. For this purpose, a 2G certificate is also required for tour skiers.
The Bergbahnen Wilder Kaiser - Brixental would like to point out that touring is only permitted during operating hours on the slopes according to the guidelines listed here.
Only ascend one after the other with touring skis at the edge of the piste.
Outside the operating hours, the pistes are also prepared with rope winch piste equipment. The ropes can be extended up to 1,000 metres. As soon as the piste machine tightens the rope, a deadly danger lurks, as the rope can swing out up to 40 m to the left or right.
We therefore ask you not to underestimate the danger outside of the lift operation for your safety and for our snow groomer drivers.
Safety has priority and therefore we ask for your understanding.
Outside SkiWelt season times: The pistes are closed to ski tourers during the day for safety reasons due to ongoing work throughout the SkiWelt. We thank you for your understanding.
