At the south-western foothills of the Kaiser Mountains in the middle of the nature reserve near Scheffau is probably the most beautiful and cleanest mountain and bathing lake in Tyrol, the Hintersteiner See. Water also makes a big appearance down in the village and makes Scheffau the 1st Kneipp for me® experience village in Tyrol. Untouched nature and winter tranquillity can be enjoyed especially on the night trail. There is also a free practice lift in the village and childcare facilities on the Brandstadl for relaxed skiing fun.

The Brandstadl panoramic mountain at 1,650 m is a 360° panoramic mountain in Scheffau. On one side, the mighty Wilder Kaiser impresses with its rugged peaks. The mountain range begins in Scheffau, giving you a completely different perspective of the famous mountain massif.
