“Active in the Mountains” with the Hiking Experience Pass
The Wilder Kaiser - Brixental lift operators provide the gateway to an active mountain experience, opening up a whole world of possibilities for outdoor sports enthusiasts. With over 700 km of signed hiking trails and views of 70 three-thousanders (mountains over 3,000 metres high), the prospects for Nordic walkers, mountain bikers and paragliders are almost overwhelming. Absorb the power of the mountains with every step on beautiful panoramic walks - whether it be on demanding hiking trails or family-friendly routes. An Alpine Rose Hike in June treats you to a display of blossoming nature; while on a Marmot Hike, you can observe the cute little Alpine animals "whistling" and playing in their natural habitat. If you are worried about your joints, you can always go up the mountain on foot and then float gently back down by cable car. One of the joys of every pleasurable hike has to be popping in to one of the 50 huts and inns for a cosy mountain pit stop. They're great for recharging your batteries after all the physical exertion. With the " Kaiserjet", the free bus between the villages of Going, Ellmau, Scheffau and Söll, weary walkers travel back to their holiday accommodation in a comfortable and eco-friendly way. Those who prefer to keep on the move have 400 km of mountain bike routes to choose from; you can take your bike on the Wilder Kaiser - Brixental cable cars and start your dream tour from a healthy altitude. Paragliders too will discover a unique experience by taking off from the Hohe Salve, Hartkaiser, Brandstadl or Choralpe mountains. If you are looking for special experiences amongst spectacular natural scenery, the Wilder Kaiser - Brixental Region lift operators are convenient "transporters" for every kind of mountain sport from May until October. The SkiWelt Hiking Experience Pass is valid on all 12 lifts and gives you free use of the six mountain adventure parks and the "Kaiserjet" bus.
