A culinary hike with wonderful views

On our unique hike far away from the tourist crowds, you can enjoy the tranquillity of the Tyrolean mountains and discover our culinary insider tips around the Hohe Salve. From the mountain station of the Hexenwasser Gondola/Rabennest, we walk past the bee house in the direction of the Simonalm. Here you can take a short detour to Tyrol's only egg museum "EIlight" with a chick nursery, before you are provided with a hearty snack package and your hiking map by the alpine dairymaid. In addition to cheese, sausage, fresh bread and an AlmEi, you will also receive a Hexenwasser pocket knife for your picnic (and as a souvenir to take home).

The trail now leads uphill across the alpine meadows to the Keatalmen, where you already reach the highest point of the hike and can enjoy a fabulous view of the Hexenwasser and the Wilder Kaiser. At the alpine huts in the direction of Innerkeat you will find a romantic picnic area with a drinks station (excl.), which is ideal for your cosy alpine picnic. After a break, continue downhill towards the beautiful Filzalmsee lake. Here you can cool your feet in the cool water of the mountain lake before a freshly baked dessert awaits you in the rustic Filzalm.

Afterwards, the trail leads back through the giant forest without any major inclines, stopping at the Silleralm alpine tavern - a real insider tip. As a crowning finale, you can enjoy a Tyrolean schnapps at the "flotte Lotte" before you hike the last short stage back to Hexenwasser.

You can start the tour on your own and choose the starting time of your hike yourself, but always pay attention to the weather conditions on the mountain.
