Hike to the Fleiding Summit

Route description

I take the Alpenrosenbahn cable car up to the Talkaser, which lies at an altitude of 1,770 metres. From there, I start my hike to the right into the breathtaking mountain world. After about 200 metres downhill, I follow the high trail towards Kreuzjöchlsee on the "Höhningerscharte" to the left. However, I always make sure to follow the signposts to the Fleiding summit. From a wide hiking trail, I take a narrower hiking path uphill and I am already at the summit of Fleiding. In winter, this is the highest point in the ski area and I am now standing here in hiking boots - fascinating!

To get back down to the valley, I head left at the summit cross along the forest path downhill to the "Höhningerscharte" area and across the alpine meadows back to the gondola station. Finally, I enjoy the comfortable descent on the Alpenrosenbahn cable car.
