Springs hiking trail

I start my hike by taking the gondola lift up to Hexenwasser in Söll. The idyllic landscape around the source of the Hohe Salve opens up to me right at the top. From here, I follow hiking trail no. 50, which takes me past the Simonalm in the direction of the Outer and Inner Keatalmen.

On the way, I enjoy the peaceful alpine landscape before following the signs towards Gasthof Rigi. The trail also takes me past the picturesque Salvensee lake - a wonderful place for a short break and a view of the surrounding mountains.

Once I arrive at Gasthof Rigi , I take the opportunity to stop for a cosy break. I then continue past the Kälberalm to the KRAFTalm at the middle station of the Salvista cable car, where I also take a refreshing break.

Refreshed, I then follow hiking trail no. 70 via the Rinneralm in the direction of the Stöcklalm and finally back to Hochsöll to the middle station at Hexenwasser.

As I circle the Hohe Salve at around 1,600 metres above sea level, I repeatedly enjoy impressive views of the surrounding mountains - from the Wilder Kaiser to the gentle peaks of the Kitzbühel Alps.
