Directions

From the Salvistabahn Itter mountain station at the summit of the Kleine Salve (1,565 m), the route first leads to the stunning Kleine Salve mountain lake before continuing along a narrow forest trail (number 68) to the Alpengasthof Rigi. Continue along trail number 71 to the beautiful Salvensee lake and on towards Keat. You will be accompanied by stunning mountain views the entire way. If you don't want to hike back up to the Salvistabahn mountain station, you can hike to the KRAFTalm (Salvistabahn middle station). From here, you can return to the valley.
