Gampenkogel and Kreuzjöchlsee circular hike
The medium-difficulty circular hike leads to the Gampenkogel, where a summit cross awaits you and you can enjoy true summit bliss. The tour offers impressive views of the summit, the Brixental valley, the Windau valley and the glistening mountain lake.
Route description
You start your tour with the Alpenrosenbahn gondola lift and travel up to the Talkaser mountain station. From there, the trail leads past the Talkaser mountain restaurant and continues along the Höhningerscharte and Einködlscharte. Turn left there and continue uphill to the summit of the Gampenkogel. From the summit, head back down to the Kreuzjöchlsee lake or the Gasthof Brechhornhaus. If you wish, you can make a detour to the Anna Chapel.
On the way back, you walk via the Fleidingalm back to the Alpenrosenbahn gondola mountain station.

This variant of the Alpinorama is not suitable for buggies. In this case, we recommend choosing the easy version of the circular route.
