Circular hike Kreuzjöchlsee
Experience the Tyrolean mountains up close on the Alpinorama trail in Westendorf. The easy hike is ideal for families and offers impressive views of peaks, valleys and the glistening mountain lake.
Route description
You start your tour with the Alpenrosenbahn gondola lift and travel up to the Talkaser mountain station. From there, the trail leads past the Talkaser mountain restaurant and continues along the Höhningerscharte and Einködlscharte to the Kreuzjöchlsee lake or the Brechhornhaus inn. If you wish, you can make a detour to the Anna Chapel.
On the way back, you walk via the Fleidingalm back to the Alpenrosenbahn gondola mountain station.
Strollers & Co.
This easy variant of the Alpinorama hiking trail runs along a forest road and, with 70 metres of elevation gain and a well-maintained forest path, is also suitable for strollers/ buggies.

To get to the starting point of the Alpinorama hiking trail at Talkaser, there are various tickets available for the "Alpenrosenbahn" cable car:
