Himmelsteig trail
Circular walk with 14 stations about animals and nature
The Himmelsteig is an easy circular hiking trail around the Guggenkögele, which also passes the Spoggolino marble run . Marmota, the youngest child of the Murmel family, has left traces all along the Himmelsteig. You help Eagle Bert search for her and collect new clues about her whereabouts. Perhaps mountain dwellers such as Woodpecker, Ermine or Mrs Mouse can help you in your search.

Tip
Route description
The family-friendly themed hike starts directly at the Alpenrosenbahn mountain station in Westendorf. From there, a well-signposted circular trail leads through the impressive Tyrolean mountains, peppered with 14 interactive adventure stations.
After a short time, you will reach the "Adlerhorst" station . From there, a worthwhile detour to the summit cross on the Guggenkögele is well worthwhile. The view of the surrounding peaks is spectacular and a real highlight for explorers of all ages! Continue towards Choralpe before taking a forest road along the Spoggolino ball track back to the Alpernosenbahn mountain station.
Strollers & Co.
The Himmelsteig is NOT suitable for buggies. Only the section of the Spoggolino ball track (gravel path between Choralpe and Alpenrosenbahn) is suitable for pushchairs.
