Coming up to come down
Slowing down is the motto of the picturesque "Alpinorama" circular trail in the Kitzbühel Alps. The leisurely panoramic hike leads through gentle grassy mountains, past blooming alpine pastures, the idyllic Anna Chapel and the beautifully situated Kreuzjöchlsee lake.
Numerous lovingly designed resting places invite you to pause for a moment, enjoy the tranquillity and be in the moment. The trail also offers impressive views of the Hohe Tauern, the Zillertal Alps and the natural landscape of Tyrol. The Alpinorama circular trail is ideal for anyone who wants to recharge their batteries while hiking, find peace and quiet and experience the beauty of the Alps with all their senses.

Variants
Route description
The start is at the Alpenrosenbahn cable car. Take the gondola up to the mountain station and start both variants of the Alpinorama trail to the right. The paths separate shortly after the Einködlscharte. The easier path leads straight ahead to the Kreuzjöchlsee lake. The more challenging variant first climbs up to the summit of the Gampenkogel before continuing to the Kreuzjöchlsee lake.
