Directions
After passing the Brandstadl gondola lift, I reach our newly designed barbecue area, which invites you to enjoy a cozy barbecue with friends (wood and coal are available at the mountain station). Continuing along the path, I reach the Brandstadl summit cross with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. The panoramic platform there makes it easier to find my way to the individual peaks.
Now I have the option of either hiking back to the mountain station through the KaiserWald forest with its winding paths, secret tree huts, hidden streams, attractive climbing walls and much more, or taking the longer route via the Tanzbodenalm.
Possible combinations
- Themed trails such as the Murmelweg, Aualmweg and Eibergrundweg can be combined very well here.
- Past the Jochstubnsee lake, you also have the option of hiking towards the Filzalmsee lake in Hochbrixen, or you can take the hiking trail towards Ellmau to Ellmi's Zauberwelt.
