La montaña panorámica nº 1 del Tirol

Una montaña deportiva y de actividades bien desarrollada con una cumbre de 1.829 metros de altura. Con buen tiempo, la ubicación independiente del Hohe Salve me ofrece unas magníficas vistas de los Alpes de Kitzbühel y los Alpes de Zillertal, el macizo Wilder Kaiser y el Hohe Tauern.

La vista de 360° de más de 70 picos de tres mil metros desde la plataforma panorámica giratoria del restaurante de la cumbre del Hohe Salve también es posible sin mucho esfuerzo, ya que los teleféricos de Hopfgarten y Söll me facilitan el acceso a la cumbre con dos telecabinas de 8 plazas . Una vez en la cima, recomiendo una visita a la iglesia más alta de Austria, la iglesia de peregrinación de San Juan Bautista. El Salvenkirchlein es el punto de partida ideal para numerosas excursiones de gran belleza.

Una ruta apta para todos los públicos rodea la cima del Hohe Salve: un sendero panorámico fácil y sin grandes desniveles que ofrece maravillosas vistas de todas las montañas circundantes. Otro punto destacado es el sendero de los relojes de sol, donde 12 estaciones de relojes de sol revelan los secretos del sol, el viento y el tiempo y explican vívidamente la historia de la medición del tiempo. Un arpa de viento transforma el viento en música, animando a los visitantes a detenerse y escuchar los sonidos.

Today you will trace the KAT Walk, the long-distance hiking trail of the Kitzbühel Alps. The Salvenbahn takes you up to the middle station of the Hohe Salve. Together with a hiking guide, you will hike over lush alpine meadows on the sunny side of arguably the most beautiful viewpoint mountain in Tyrol, our Hohe Salve! This half-day hike requires endurance and fitness, as around 650 meters of elevation gain will be covered. The solstice has a long tradition in the Hohe Salve region and is a true spectacle. The mountain peaks are set ablaze as the longest day meets the shortest night. On June 20, fires are lit on the mountain tops. These fires are meant to strengthen the power of the sun and ward off evil from humans and animals. Experience unique traditions at the summit of Hohe Salve. The fires in the evening mountain atmosphere will delight you! From the mountain peaks, the view is overwhelming and reveals another facet of the impressive mountain world of the Kitzbühel Alps in Tyrol. TIP: The summit restaurant on Hohe Salve is open all day! A reservation is beneficial - warm meals available again from 6:30 p.m.. St. Anna's day at the Hohe Salve
On July 27, 2025, the Hohe Salve once again invites you to the traditional Holy Anna summit mass – a special event deeply rooted in Tyrolean faith and festival culture. The mass takes place at the summit of the Hohe Salve, where amidst an impressive 360° panorama, people come together to celebrate and pause. The mountain mass is musically accompanied by the Brixen brass group. Afterwards, the Gipfelalm Hohe Salve invites you to a cozy early brunch. Tyrolean specialties and convivial gatherings are the focus here. The feast day of Anna is regarded in Christian tradition as a memorial day for Saint Anna, the mother of Mary and grandmother of Jesus. As the patron saint of mothers and families, she is highly revered in many regions of Tyrol. Pilgrimages and masses in her honor have a long tradition, especially in the Alpine countries. Such celebrations not only provide space for religious devotion but also strengthen the sense of community – a moment to pause in often hectic daily life. The summit mass on the Hohe Salve is a unique experience for all who wish to consciously enjoy the moment in nature and celebrate together. La montaña panorámica Brandstadl, de 1.650 metros, ofrece una panorámica de 360° en Scheffau. Por un lado, el imponente Wilder Kaiser impresiona con sus escarpadas cumbres. La cordillera comienza en Scheffau, ofreciéndole una perspectiva completamente distinta del famoso macizo montañoso. Continúa con las montañas del valle del Inn: los montes Rofan y Karwendel hasta los Alpes de Kitzbühel y Hohe Tauern. Al otro lado, destaca claramente el Hohe Salve.
