Westendorf
Westendorf is situated on a sunny plateau in the middle of the Brixental Valley, far away from traffic noise. The pretty village center with its excellent infrastructure is surrounded by an impressive mountain world and is considered the link between the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental ski area and the Kitzbühel/Kirchberg ski area. For snowboarders and freestylers, the ski area is home to one of the finest fun parks in the region, the "Boarders Playground". Nothing stands in the way of skiing and snowboarding fun in Westendorf from the beginning of winter right through to the spring months.
Highlights away from the slopes are the perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails and winter hiking trails that lead you to the most beautiful places.
Guests not only get their money's worth in winter, but there's never a dull moment in Westendorf in summer either. The natural jewel of the Windau Valley and the fantastic mountain world with peaks up to 2400 m offer an almost inexhaustible hiking, mountain biking and recreation area.
The tourism association also offers daily themed hikes and a varied family program. Curious, exciting and surprising experiences await children of all ages on the "Animal Puzzle Tour" in the Alpinolino Discovery Park on Westendorf's local mountain
