The Schneeberg practice slope in the village centre is perfect for children and beginners. A free magic carpet ensures that the first steps on skis or snowboards are safe and comfortable. The Schneeberg T-bar lift is right next door. Parents can accompany their children while they practise, while the little ones make their first turns on their own.

In the immediate vicinity, the Sammer chairlift in the valley also offers the opportunity to try out a few turns before heading up the mountain.

Easy runs on the mountain allow little skiers to improve their skills step by step. These include the blue valley run no. 111, which leads gently into the valley, as well as the blue run from the highest point of the SkiWelt at Fleiding. For the first runs on the mountain , the Laubkogel platter lift at the Talkaser offers children the opportunity to enjoy the view of the mountains.

The Funpark Westendorf with the BIG PLAYGROUND© offers action for older children and advanced skiers. There is also the MINI PLAYGROUND© for the little ones, where they can try out their first jumps and turns. Children of all ages will find the right play area in the snow.

There are five ski schools for children and adults in SkiWelt Westendorf. You can choose between private lessons or group lessons and find the right learning experience for your ability. Freeride courses are also on offer. For all those who want to discover the region, there are ski guiding tours through the SkiWelt, where guides lead you safely to the most beautiful descents and highlights.

There are numerous cosy huts right on the slopes where you can take a break to catch your breath or have a snack. This allows little skiers to recharge their batteries and parents to relax before heading back onto the piste.
