Route description
Arriving at Astberg Going with the chair lift, you can experience the idyllically situated Astbergsee, which is rightly known as the Emperor's mirror! At the Pony Alm you can explore the area on horseback. The high altitude hiking trail leads towards Ellmi's magic world. You hike uphill in untouched nature, downhill through meadows and forests until you reach the Hartkaiser. There is much to experience in the magical world of the frog Ellmi. Finally, you can take the Brandstadlbahn into the valley in comfort and take the "KaiserJet", the free bus service, back to the starting point in Going.
