Topic Soil in Hexenwasser

Insanely mysterious. Insanely down-to-earth. The hidden world beneath our feet opens up at Hexenwasser Söll in 2025.

News | 05.02.2025

Walk barefoot, discover hidden treasures and get creative with natural materials. In summer 2025, the witches invite every guest to go underground and take a closer look at the species-rich Tyrolean landscape. Up into the earth!

Hexenwasser Söll is a place whose magic only unfolds if you take the time to look closely. Places and chambers of wonder can be explored partly on your own and partly with a member of staff. You will be greeted in person at the witches centre "Hexerei", at the bees in the bee house, in the "Blaues Wunder" water workshop, in the Eilight egg museum on the "Simonalm" hut and in the new "Kunstwerker" creative workshop around the campfire. Just like at the stations, a mystical world full of secrets opens up in the earth, which hides far more than the earth you can feel under your feet on the barefoot trail. Hidden beneath the surface is a fascinating network of living creatures, minerals and organic substances that form the foundation of all life on our planet and open up a new horizon as the theme of the year 2025 in Hexenwasser.

The biggest and best-known hero in the of the earth is the earthworm, which you can experience at work at the Hexenwasser. Or you can explore the hidden universe of roots and strange, unknown inhabitants of the earth in the Simonalm hut mushroom cellar. A new artisan's hut has been created in the witches' forest, where visitors are invited to join the industrious ants and create small works of art from natural materials. On the nature world tour, young and old can discover earth passages, fun landslides, caves and their inhabitants and really get going. Those who are sufficiently grounded and at peace with themselves at the end of the tour can crown it all by making the singing bowl under the witches' umbrellas vibrate and feeling the mystical power of the earth from head to toe.
