SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental has once again received the SnowTrex Award in 2026, recognising it as one of the most popular ski areas. The award is based on ratings from guests who booked their winter holiday through SnowTrex.
After their holiday, SnowTrex customers rate their experience, including the ski area. To qualify for the award, ski areas must receive a sufficient number of ratings from the previous season and achieve an average score of at least 8 out of 10. There is no judging panel involved. The award is based entirely on guest feedback, giving a direct insight into how satisfied visitors were with their holiday and the ski area.

Why are the individual resorts rated separately, even though SkiWelt is one ski area?
Although SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental is one interconnected ski area, SnowTrex assesses the individual entry points based on ratings from guests staying in each holiday resort. This means that guests' experiences contribute directly to the rating of their respective holiday resort. We are delighted to see several of our entry points recognised, and to receive such a strong overall result for SkiWelt.
