Since 1998, ski and snowboard fans, as well as the ski resorts themselves, have recognised the annual test winner awards as the most important industry award. This year, a select group of the world's best ski resorts can look forward to the awards and SkiWelt is one of them!
SkiWelt offers a wide range of activities for beginners, families with children, freeriders and cross-country skiers throughout the entire SkiWelt. Insanely big is our motto and we have been awarded for it: the ski area extends over 9 villages and thus offers 288 kilometres of pistes and 21 valley runs. Furthermore, all lifts are equipped with modern facilities and there are hardly any waiting times at the access points. Our ecological footprint has been described as exemplary by Skiresort: Solar-powered lifts, countless snow ponds filled with spring and meltwater and heat pumps that transfer the waste heat from the gondola lift and heat the surrounding buildings are just a few of the praised examples. In addition, our 80 rustic family-run huts and mountain restaurants, which invite you to stop for a bite to eat, are also impressive.

SkiWelt's range of pistes has once again been awarded 5 out of 5 stars - insanely wide and long runs. There are numerous pistes and 21 downhill runs for beginners and experts alike.
The lifts and cable cars in the SkiWelt have once again been awarded 5 out of 5 stars - all slopes are accessible with modern lifts.
SkiWelt's piste grooming has been awarded 5 out of 5 stars - equipped with a piste snow measuring system, the pistes are freshly groomed with great dedication, so that not too much and not too little snow is applied and resource-saving snow management is possible.
The SkiWelt is very centrally located and is easily accessible via two different motorway exits. Large car parks are available free of charge at the 9 access points to the SkiWelt.

The cleanliness and hygiene in the SkiWelt was once again awarded 5 out of 5 stars - great attention is paid to cleanliness throughout the ski area.
The environmental protection activities are very exemplary and were once again awarded 5 out of 5 stars - a lot of work is done with photovoltaic systems and the resort generates its own electricity. Heat pumps are also used to utilise the waste heat from the gondola lifts and heat the surrounding buildings.
The friendliness of the SkiWelt staff has been awarded 4 stars - the staff are friendly and show a lot of presence.
The SkiWelt has been awarded 5 out of 5 stars for gastronomy, mountain restaurants and huts - the 80 rustic family-run restaurants invite you to take a break.
The après-ski offer of the SkiWelt has been awarded 4 stars - cosy huts and bars at the valley stations offer a great après-ski programme.
The range of accommodation was once again awarded 5 out of 5 stars - there is plenty of piste-side accommodation available in each of the 9 entry points.
SkiWelt offers 4 completely free practice slopes in the valley for families and children. In addition, many slopes are suitable for families and there are also large children's areas at the ski schools.
The SkiWelt is very suitable for beginners, as there are beautiful practice areas and beginner pistes in every SkiWelt resort. In Ellmau and Scheffau there are easy pistes where beginners can put their skills to the test.
The SkiWelt impresses with its difficult black runs from the Hohe Salve to Söll and Brixen im Thale and therefore receives 5 out of 5 stars. Deep snow slopes in the individual villages are tempting for a detour.
