Pony pedagogy on the Astberg
Going | Pony course for children
Using the tried-and-tested FEBS method - imagination, experience, movement and play - we enable children to make their first contact with ponies in a loving and respectful way. The children develop trust, empathy and a sense of responsibility in dealing with animals in a natural way.
What the children can expect
- Playful familiarisation with the ponies
- Teaching species-appropriate handling of the animal
- Understanding the behaviour and needs of ponies
- 50 minutes accompanied by a trained specialist
- Group size of maximum 5 children
IMPORTANT NOTE
Pony education at Astberg is not traditional animal therapy, but an educational programme to promote children's development through playful contact with animals.
