By train to the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental
Travelling by train to the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental is INCREDIBLY SUSTAINABLE. In partnership with ÖBB, there are two combined offers available in winter and a joint ticket in summer, allowing you to travel comfortably and stress-free from the train straight into the mountain world. Your train journey and ski pass/adventure card are combined into a single ticket – for a simple, eco-friendly and relaxed journey without a car. The villages of Hopfgarten, Westendorf and Brixen im Thale all have their own railway stations within the ski area. Ellmau, Going, Itter, Scheffau and Söll are connected via the stations at Wörgl, Kufstein or St. Johann in Tirol.
From the train to the mountain world
TAKE THE TRAIN TO YOUR HIKING HOLIDAY
With the “ÖBB Erlebnisticket”, you can travel directly from the train to the Wilder Kaiser – Brixental mountain region. Simply hop on and travel to Hopfgarten im Brixental Berglift, Wörgl or Kufstein. The Hopfgarten stop is right next to the valley station in Hopfgarten.

- Arrival/departure by train (ÖBB/DB) on a daytime service OR on the ÖBB Nightjet to Hopfgarten im Brixental Berglift, Wörgl or Kufstein
- Mountain Railway Experience Card (1 to 14 or 21 days, as desired)
From the train to the slopes
Railjet (day train)
TAKE THE TRAIN TO YOUR SKI HOLIDAY
With the “ÖBB Kombiticket Wintersport”, you can travel directly from the train to the slopes of the SkiWelt. Simply board the train at any Austrian station and travel in 2nd class to Hopfgarten im Brixental Berglift station. The station is situated right next to the lift entrance to the SkiWelt Hopfgarten.

Nightjet (night train)
TAKE THE NIGHT TRAIN TO YOUR SKI HOLIDAY
From Amsterdam, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Munich and Vienna, you can sleep soundly on your journey to the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental. Travel comfortably and easily overnight on the ÖBB’s Nightjet and start your skiing adventure relaxed the very next morning. The combined ticket includes a multi-day ski pass, travel on the Nightjet and a transfer to and from the station.
