Wider conveyor belt in KinderKaiserland®
News | 17.08.2018
From the 2018/19 winter season, a pilot project will be implemented at the KinderKaiserland ski school in Scheffau. Director and pioneer Gerhard Told introduced a major innovation years ago with the Mini-Carver skis for the youngest skiers from 15 months.
The "Helping Hands" pilot project was launched so that young athletes can receive the best possible support when learning to ski, make progress and have fun at the same time. The top priority for all new programmes was and is always the safety aspect for the children.
Wider conveyor belt for "Helping Hands"

In the KinderKaiserland Scheffau area, there is now a new and much wider conveyor belt that can accommodate 2-3 people side by side. The carers use the conveyor belt with skis and can thus support the children on the uphill and downhill runs. The prepared piste is no longer impaired by walking on it in ski boots or winter boots.
"Helping hands" from carers or parents prevent the children from falling over and stopping the conveyor belt. This ensures that the learning programmes progress quickly.
The little skiers feel safe and can concentrate fully on the action.
