“Groundbreaking” novelty for the season start in the popular family ski area Steinplatte-Winklmoosalm:

The 25-year-old Kapellenbahn has been replaced by a modern 8-seater chairlift – highest comfort, shorter waiting times, and more safety for children! Situated in the tri-border area of Tyrol-Salzburg-Bavaria, easily accessible from Waidring (AT) and Reit im Winkl (D), the ski area is thrilling with 42 top slopes and stunning panoramic views. Freestylers can rock the creative Snowpark Steinplatte with over 50 elements, and for all the little ones, there’s the Triassic Funline with dinosaur-themed stations. Non-skiers enjoy fantastic views while winter hiking to the observation platform or the dripstone cave, and all cross-country skiers feel at home on the Winklmoosalm.
