Bike tour in Söll & Brixen im Thale
Route description
I start my tour at the valley station of the Hexenwasser gondola lift in Söll, where there are also parking facilities. From there, I can easily take the gondola up to the mountain station in Hochsöll and start my mountain bike tour from there.
Directly at the mountain station, I keep left on the forest path after the Gründlalm and head towards the hidden Steinriesen. After a short climb, I reach the old lift station. Shortly afterwards, I have the opportunity to turn left to the Silleralm and take a cosy break there.
Refreshed, I continue on to the final spurt up to the Filzalm and the idyllic Filzalmsee. From there, the route continues over the Brixner Sonnberg and past the Gasthaus Nieding to Brixen im Thale.
For the way back to Söll, I follow cycle paths no. 21 and no. 14 along the Salvenradrunde. The tour can also be ideally combined with the Söll-Hochsöll MTB route.
