Söll-Hochsöll bike tour

I start my MTB tour in the village centre of Söll and ride over the roundabout to the valley station of the Hexenwasser gondola lift. Immediately afterwards, I turn right, ride through the subway and cycle up the Salvenberg. Over several hairpin bends and partly in the cool forest shade, I cycle past the Salvenmoos inn to Hochsöll. I can take a cosy break at the Hochsöll mountain inn or at the Gründlalm and replenish my energy stores.

Once at the top, I enjoy a break in the Hexenwasser and let my mind wander. I discover the Blue Wonder, the walk-in cherry tree, the beehive and perhaps treat myself to a delicious farmhouse ice cream. A short walk through the Hexenwasser to the show barn "Am Vieh Theater" at the Stöcklalm is also worthwhile.

Well fortified, I then make my way back and cycle back to Söll along the same route.

If I still have enough energy, I can extend my tour and continue on MTB route 265 - past the cosy Silleralm to the Filzalmsee lake in Hochbrixen or to Brixen im Thale. From there, I follow the Salven cycle route via Itter and finally return to Söll.
