New Schernthann cable car in Hopfgarten

With the new Schernthannbahn, the sky in the SkiWelt will always be blue from winter 2015/16 - and not just literally.

Just in time for the start of the season in December 2015, the ultra-modern Schernthannbahn in Hopfgarten will go into operation. The comfortable 6-seater chairlift from LEITNER ropeways sets new standards in terms of technology, design and family-friendliness. Equipped with the innovative DirectDrive, an automatically height-adjustable lift table and heated seats, it provides extra comfort and safety - for winter sports fans of all ages.

The new lift is also visually impressive: the stylish color scheme with blue weather protection hoods and comfortable upholstery blends harmoniously into the SkiWelt landscape.

For Prok. Friedl Eberl, the new track is an important milestone:

Automatic lift table - small guests really big

The integrated lift table automatically recognizes when children get on and adjusts to their size. This means that even our youngest guests can ride safely and comfortably. Especially in Hopfgarten - with its open pistes, several ski schools and family-friendly services - this innovation is a great benefit.
