Already for the 30th time, the Musikherbst in Ellmau, an idyllic Tyrolean village, is a must for all friends of folk music. The most famous folk music festival in the Alpine region with the absolute stars of this genre inspires guests from all over the world. When the top stars of the folk music scene - Hansi Hinterseer, Howard Carpendale, Maite Kelly, DJ Ötzi, Giovanni Zarrella, Francine Jordi, Andy Borg, Marc Pircher, Ronja Forcher and many more - share the stage in the festival tent in the village centre of Ellmau at the end of September and beginning of October, audiences travel from all over the world.

During the two Musikherbst weeks, depending on the date, the large Ellmau farmers' market takes place during the day on Saturdays or Sundays with over 50 exhibitors from the region. On Thursdays and Fridays there is also a great daytime programme to the Aurach Wildlife Park and a dream morning pint on the mountain.

Frühshoppen am Berg - Ellmau

On 02.10., 03.10. as well as 05.10. and 06.10.2023 a traditional Frühshoppen am Berg in Ellmau takes place.
A great atmosphere with a live band and food and drink will be provided.
