More than 1,600 Visitors Celebrate
20 Years of Ellmi’s Magic World on Hartkaiser

More than 1,600 visitors joined the celebrations on 19 July 2026, as Ellmi’s Magic World on Hartkaiser in Ellmau marked its 20th anniversary. Despite mixed weather, families, guests and invited dignitaries gathered to enjoy a fun filled day with a varied programme, family activities, and the chance to meet Ellmi in person.
20 Years of Family Adventures on Hartkaiser
Since opening in 2006, Ellmi’s Magic World on Hartkaiser has delighted local families and visitors from around the world. What began as an imaginative mountain theme park has grown into one of the region’s most popular family attractions. For two decades, generations of children have explored magical trails, solved enchanting puzzles, and discovered the unique world of Ellmi.
The anniversary celebration featured a wide range of activities for all ages. Visitors tried their hand at gold panning, enjoyed pony rides, watched a magician perform, bounced on the inflatable castle, and met Ellmi throughout the day.
A Heartfelt Thank You to Everyone Involved
During the official celebration at the Kaiserlounge mountain restaurant, Managing Director Klaus Eggenberger reflected on the success of Ellmi’s Magic World.
“We are delighted that Ellmi’s Magic World has brought joy to so many families over the past 20 years. Its success shows that nature, adventure, and imagination never go out of style. Ellmi has created unforgettable memories for generations of children, and we look forward to continuing that journey for many years to come.”
Joining Klaus Eggenberger at the celebration were Hannes Winkler, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bergbahnen Wilder Kaiser GmbH, and Ellmau Mayor Nikolaus Manzl. Longstanding partners Walter Edinger of Edinger GmbH and Thomas Adamer of Entertaining.at, who have supported Ellmi’s Magic World since its early days, also attended the event.
Special thanks were extended to the local landowners, partners and supporters, whose commitment, creativity and ideas have helped shape Ellmi’s Magic World over the years. The dedicated team at Bergbahnen Wilder Kaiser GmbH was also recognised for making memorable experiences possible for children and adults every day.
Particular recognition was given to Victoria Wagner, Assistant to the Operations Manager. Since 2022, she has played a key role in developing new stories, adventures, and puzzles for Ellmi’s Magic World. Her lovingly written short stories allow children to take a little of Hartkaiser’s magic home with them. She also contributed to the recently published anniversary book, now available in the souvenir shop.
