When the festively decorated cows and calves make their way from the alpine pastures into the valley in autumn, one of the most beautiful Tyrolean traditions is celebrated in Hopfgarten. The Almabtrieb marks the end of a successful summer in the mountains and attracts numerous visitors year after year.
