The Ackerhütte (self-catered hut) is perched at an altitude of 1,455 m below the imposing southern walls of the Ackerlspitze and Maukspitze.

The small hut is a self-catered hut of the Alpine Club and is not managed.

On nice weekends in summer, the hut warden is usually on site
