Opening times, information & how to get to SkiWelt Westendorf

The Alpenrosenbahn, operated by Bergbahnen Westendorf, takes you up to the Talkaaser (1,770 m) in two stages – with views across the Brixental valley as far as the Hohe Tauern. In summer, the Alpinolino adventure park awaits you at the top; in winter, it’s the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental with a link to Kitzbühel. Any questions about tickets, timetables or groups? You can contact us directly here.

Alpinolino

Behind every rock, I discover new wonders! Whether I’m a clever fox, a nimble weasel or a curious explorer, I set off on an exciting journey between the mountains Talkaser and Choralpe. Along the trails “Himmelsteig”, “Holzwurmweg” and “Adlerhorst”, plenty of animal-themed quizzes, lots of fun and countless natural wonders are waiting for me...

Directions & Parking

You can reach Westendorf by car via the Inntal motorway (A12). Take the Wörgl-Ost exit or – if you want to avoid the toll – the Kufstein-Süd exit. By train, you can travel directly to Westendorf station. Alternatively, you can get off at the stations in Wörgl, Hopfgarten or Brixen im Thale – from there, you can continue your journey by bus or taxi. The nearest airport is Innsbruck; Munich and Salzburg are also good options. You can find further information on routes, timetables and connections directly from the relevant transport provider. If you’re travelling by car, we recommend – where possible – leaving your car at your accommodation and using the regular buses to get to the mountain railway. If you’d prefer to drive directly to the Westendorf valley station of the Bergbahnen, there are plenty of free parking spaces available there. Digital information boards on site will help you find a parking space. At the valley station, you’ll also find charging points for electric cars that are subject to a charge.
