My name is Susanne – I am the heart and soul of Haus Geigenmacher.

In 2018, I fulfilled a lifelong dream by moving from beautiful Düsseldorf to Austria to run a historic house filled with life and cross-cultural exchange. I am a curious, inquisitive person, passionate about history, current affairs, music and literature. From my own extensive travels, I know exactly what first-class hospitality truly means.

As a former swimming coach, I am drawn to our stunning alpine lakes in summer and enjoy relaxing wellness swimming in winter. I also love following major sports events like the Hahnenkamm ski race or the Kitzbühel Triathlon. I share this enthusiasm for the genuine, the high-quality, and the morning scent of freshly baked bread and coffee with my guests from the bottom of my heart every single day!

What you can expect from me:

  • ❤️ Personal Care: With me, you are never just an anonymous booking number. From freshly made box-spring beds to daily activity tips and excursions on the beautiful panoramic train to Kitzbühel (free with your guest card!), I ensure a wonderfully smooth holiday.

  • Handcrafted Gourmet Breakfast: Cooking is my passion. While I personally prepare fresh, warm egg dishes according to our house recipes every morning, I serve regional products, delicious homemade delicacies and treats. Our vegan and vegetarian guests will also find plenty to enjoy, thanks to my homemade spreads and jams. 

  • Allergy-Friendly Oasis of Well-Being: Our historic house provides the ideal retreat after a day of sports. For the protection of all guests, we operate a strictly pet-free, non-smoking house.
