Děsivý je legendární příběh o kostelíku v Pirchmoosu, který je spojován s boji za svobodu v roce 1809. Tehdy prý tři rolničtí chlapci zabili nepřátelského okupačního vojáka a bez váhání ho pohřbili pod tamější seníkem. Po dlouhé době pak na vrahy dopadla trestající ruka Boží. Na to prý jejich rodiny
