Již ve 13. století zde pravděpodobně stál románský kostel. O 200 let později zde vyrostla gotická stavba s lomenými okny, klenbami a dveřními rámy. Z této doby pochází kostelní věž a gotická socha Panny Marie v levém horním rohu hlavní lodi.
