Here in Hochsöll, we have rebuilt the old farmhouse “Prandl” dated 1417 from Brixen/Bressanone. The former parlours and chambers shall serve to recount, depict and provide an understanding of what life was like on an Alpine pasture.
We can no longer live as we once did! But we can strive to recreate the feeling and atmosphere in which to immerse ourselves for a little while at least:
At the Simonalm you encounter a world of legends, stories, songs, games, recipes, prayers, country lore, customs and traditions.
You leave the Alpine pasture, inspired and supported by the notion of what previous generations have experienced up here in the mountains. And we want to give a new home to this legacy at the Simonalm.
