The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental is one of the largest and most modern ski areas in the world. Unique: 8 direct access points with over 275 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes and 20 valley runs await you. Whether you are a beginner, family, leisure or sports skier, everyone has a lot of fun in the SkiWelt. Skiers can also expect 81 modern lifts, panoramic views of over 70x 3000m mountains, 3 fun parks, adventure slopes, 3 floodlit toboggan runs and Austria's largest night skiing area. The 80 huts are family-run and invite you to take a break with sun terraces and service.

Only 1 hour away from Salzburg, Innsbruck or Munich, the SkiWelt is not only incredibly quick but also easy to reach by car, bus, train or plane.

Ellmi´s magical christmas market on the mountain Experience the Christmas season in Ellmi's magical world, which is transformed into a sparkling Christmas wonderland. The Hartkaiser summit shines with a sea of lights. The gondola lift takes you to Ellmi. At 1,555 meters, a Christmas market with a torchlight trail awaits you. Huts and music invite you to enjoy. The scent of mulled wine, gingerbread and the festive sounds make Christmas time simply magical.

Winter hike on the Hohe Salve

Even in winter, hiking is a delight for all senses. The winter landscape, the clear air, and the quiet surroundings create a fairy-tale atmosphere that quickly makes you forget daily life. With the Salvenbahn Hopfgarten, you can comfortably reach the mid-station. From there, the hike begins on a quiet, idyllic path – partly through snowy forests, partly with impressive panoramic views of the Kitzbühel Alps. Meeting point: Information office Hopfgarten, Brixentalerstraße 41, 6361 Hopfgarten Registration: until the day before 4:00 PM online or in the information offices of the Hohe Salve region Equipment: sturdy winter shoes, winter clothing, trekking poles recommended Costs with Kitzbühel Alps guest card: free (lift ticket for ascent/descent is self-cost) Costs without Kitzbühel Alps guest card: € 32.00 per person (lift ticket for ascent/descent is self-cost) Duration: approx. 2 hours Participants: min. 2 to max. 10 Attention: No liability is assumed if other hiking trails are used or if a self-guided return is taken during this hike.
