Chapel Hike, Hohe Salve Route description
Go up the mountain on the Söll – Hohe Salve cable cars. The starting point for this hike is the Salvenkirche, the highest lying pilgrimage and wedding church in Austria (1,829 m). The trail takes you to a little chapel (Alpine dairy chapel) on the Kraftalm pasture and to the Stöcklalm. From here you hike through the Hexenwald (witches' forest) to the Salvenmoos chapel in Hochsöll.
Possible route combinations Walk to the Stampfender chapel down in the valley. Mountain to valley takes about 4 hours
